To all my lovely Patients.
It is with a mixture of sadness and joy that I want to let you know of some changes happening at Heathfield Osteopaths. For some time, I have been working with my existing associate, Katharine (Kat) Cooper, with the intention of her buying the practice. I am delighted to be able to congratulate her on the successful completion of the above. My other long standing associate, Nicola Leonard and the wonderful “Super Admin”, Vicky, will be continuing as usual. As per GDPR regulations, your records are securely held for 7 years on WriteUpp, a cloud-based UK medical software company.
For some time, my husband and I have been looking to fulfil a long held ambition to buy a farm. We have been able to achieve this, in West Wales. Having undertaken the 500-mile round trip for the last year, I can confirm that it is too far for regular work trips! We have bought Highland cattle to undergo conservation grazing on a part of the land which supports the Marsh Fritillary butterfly, a rare species reliant on the scabious plant growing on the land. We have also been able to increase our small flock of Wiltshire Horn sheep and are busy sheep proofing the fields, no easy feat for an old dairy farm!
In addition, I am converting one of the barns into space to improve mental health in young people. To anyone who wants to keep informed, please let us know and I’m happy to send sporadic updates as they occur, dependant on how quickly we can clear the farm, and how long the finances hold up.
I am so grateful to Dr Wadman and Dr Underhill from the Heathfield Surgery for recognising the benefit of Osteopathy provision in Heathfield and allowing us the space to practice so many years ago. Most of all, I am so thankful to have been able to help out all of my lovely Patients, and to them for trusting me with their care. I wish Kat, Nicola and Vicky every success for the future and know that they will take great care of you all in the future.
Thanks, Cathy.
" I am thrilled to be taking over Heathfield osteopaths. Cathy has built the practice to become a cornerstone of the community and it is a privilege to be given the opportunity to continue that.
We have over 39 years of experience working in osteopathy and pride ourselves on caring for our patients in a truly holistic way."
It’s been a joy to work with Cathy, Vicki and Nicola (whom I have worked with for many years in my practice in Tunbridge Wells.) and to get to know Heathfield.
Cathy will be greatly missed and we all wish her all the very best,
Katharine “
