What can counselling offer?

I offer a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space to explore a wide range of issues or problems.  These may include, depression, abuse, stress, self-esteem, sexuality, spirituality, work and family relationships, identity, gender issues, loss and bereavement and other life issues.

I offer high levels of confidentiality and adhere to the BACP code of ethics and professional conduct.

What happens?

The first meeting is an assessment session for you to talk about what concerns you.  It is an opportunity for us to decide whether counselling is the way forward for you.  If it is, we will agree on the number of sessions and other details.  Mostly counselling is once a week and open ended, but it depends on individual needs.

Why Integrative Counselling?

Because I can draw on a wide range of therapeutic techniques and models.  This allows me to work flexibly within the client/counsellor relationship to meet, with insight and creativity, the individual needs of each client.

What next?

Call Alison to talk about the best way forward for you.  You can contact her direct on 01883 714144.  Please tell Alison you came via this web site.
